Grade 3 Agriculture Land Based Supply Lecturer

Pay rate: 17.44 per hour

Agriculture Veterinary Lecturer : animal science, animal welfare, animal health

Duties include: –

– Planning and delivering lecturers and practical classes to students enrolled on FE and HE Agriculture courses on a range of topics including; Animal science, animal welfare and animal health

– Monitoring student attendance;

– Setting and marking student assessments, providing feedback, preparing students for examinations and monitoring student progress on their course;

– Tutoring student groups and individual students;

– Ensure compliance with Awarding body quality assurance systems;

– Attendance at teaching team meetings.

– All other duties as allocated by Line Manger

Essential:

Degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, Veterinary science or medicine or related discipline

To deliver on these specific courses staff must be technically knowledgeable in the areas above. Previous experience of delivery and assessment of student learning is also beneficial.

Post graduate qualification or professional and technical industry qualification (AMTRA)
