Assistant Research Officer required in Hillsborough
- £11.11 per hour
- Monday – Friday
- Weekend overtime usually 1 weekend in 3
- 37 hours per week
- 8.45 am – 4.40pm
Job duties:
- Delivery of the scientific tasks within a range livestock production research projects involving dairy cattle
- Recording scientific data, manual handling of livestock and agricultural equipment
- Inputting and checking data on computerised systems
- Production of summary data/reports for commercial funders
- Lab based techniques – may be required to travel to Belfast
You will have 3 A’Levels at Grade C or greater with at least one subject being a scientific discipline.
Experience working with agricultural livestock
Advanced skills and experience in the use of Microsoft Excel and Word
Experience of lab techniques is beneficial
