Our client is seeking as Assistant Sports Development Officer based in Newtownards
Hours: 36 hours per week
Pay rate: £13.61
Length: 30th Sep 2022 (possible extension)
Main duties:
To Assist the Sports and Recreation Development Officer to deliver a varied sports development programme such as Sports Affiliation, Sports Directory, administration of grant funded programmes and general administrative duties associated with the post.
Qualifcations:
Level 3 Qualification in Sports/ Recreation/Leisure OR 2 years relevant experience in the field of sports development or leisure/recreation
AND National Governing Body Level 1 sport specific or fitness qualification
Experience:
2 years’ employed experience in sports development or leisure /recreation industry
2 years’ coaching experience in a sporting or leisure/ recreation environment
Key Skills & Abilities
Sound communication, inter-personal skills
Ability to work on own initiative or in teams siuations
Good computer skills and evidence of use of Windows, Microsoft
