We are currently recruiting for a Finance Procurement Officer to start asap in a public sector role. The location of the role is lower ormeau road BT7 but will be primarily working from home under review.

 

Rate of pay: £19.76ph (Deputy Principal grade)

 

Duration: ASAP for 51 weeks with possible extension

 

Hours of work: Full-time. 37 hours. 9am to 5pm.

 

.Job duties:

  • To provide advice and input for procurement of UK scheme administrators in producer responsibility schemes.

  • Main duties will include but will not be limited to:

  • To ensure due process in followed for NI in procurement and/or appointment of scheme administrators.

  • To represent NI interests adequately within the UK.

 

Criteria:

 

  • Experience of procurement processes and legal requirements.

  • Following procurement procedures and process adequately.

  • An understanding of the machinery of government in NI, UK and EU.

 

Desirable:

 

  • Experience of government specific procurement.

  • Experience in procurement at a level above £1m.

  • Experience of working in a multi-agency/body team to deliver optimal outcomes.
