Essential Criteria:
Criterion 1
Applicants must have a minimum of a third level qualification.
Criterion 2
Be able to demonstrate, by providing personal and specific examples, that they have two years’(4 years if academic requirement is not met in criteria 1) experience in a Grants officer role in a public sector environment, to include:
· applying Grants procedures and managing Grants application & decision making processes to successful outcomes
Criterion 3
Be able to demonstrate, by providing personal and specific examples, that they have two years’(4 years if academic requirement is not met in criteria 1) experience in a Grants officer role in a public sector environment, to include:
· drafting Grants policies and guidance notes
Criterion 4
Be able to demonstrate, by providing personal and specific examples, that they have two years’(4 years if academic requirement is not met in criteria 1) experience in a Grants officer role in a public sector environment, to include:
· providing effective support to Grant applicants and potential Grant applicants and potential Grant applicants
Criterion 5
An understanding of the legislative framework governing the work of the department.
Criterion 6
An understanding of the main issues and developments impacting on service delivery within the service portfolio.
Criterion 7
A clear understanding of the workings of the public sector and political context in which it operates.
Criterion 8
A full current driving licence valid in the UK and access to a vehicle OR have access to a form of transport that enables you to carry out the duties of the post[i].
