Higher Occupational Psychologist
Premiere People Healthcare are urgently seeking a Higher Occupational Psychologist on behalf of a Public Sector Client.
The post-holder will be employed within the Work Psychology Team; a branch within the Work and Wellbeing Division of the department. . The post-holder’s main duties and responsibilities will focus on enhancing the Work Coaches’ capacity to deliver early, intensive and constructive support to the Department’s customers with health related and other barriers to work. The post-holder will also utilise their experience and skills in Occupational Psychology to develop, support and evaluate employability programmes; deliver organisational development and human resource solutions to assist performance across the Department. The Higher Occupational Psychologist will engage with external partners within the health and work sector to build working relationships and develop signposting routes for customers. The duties and responsibilities of the post-holders are likely to evolve as the Department further develops its approach to addressing economic inactivity. The post holder will work in a blended home/work model. As Covid-19 restrictions change they will be required to cover a cluster of offices across Northern Ireland and will need access to a form of transport.
Hours: Monday to Friday 0900 to 1700 (37 hours per week, with flexi time)

At least a second class degree in Psychology recognised by the British Psychological Society and a Masters degree in Occupational Psychology; and a Masters degree in Occupational Psychology.
Experience of applying Occupational Psychology in the context of improving employability.
