  • Senior HR Administrator (Organisational Development) required in Lisburn

£11.97 per hour
Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm
6 Months initially

Job duties:

To provide a professional and confidential administrative service to support all the various Organisational Development functions and to assist the HR Manager, OD with budgeting, contracts, procurement, and monthly reporting, in line with relevant policies and procedures

To assist the HR Manager, OD to ensure compliance with all financial policies and procedures and ensure good contract and procurement management

To assist the HR Manager, OD with the procurement of Learning and Development interventions in a timely manner to ensure delivery of the required training and good budgetary control

Assist the OD team in providing an analysis of learning and development needs emerging from the annual performance management system and source appropriate training as required

Assist the OD team to, co-ordinate all applications for the Training and Educational Development Scheme (TEDS), manage the reimbursement process, and evaluate the benefit of the scheme

Ensure all employee Learning and Development records (manual and computerised) are up to date and accurate. Assist in the implementation of any new Learning Management System (LMS), develop expertise in it and provide advice and guidance to relevant staff as appropriate. Look for opportunities to maximise potential benefits of any new LMS and conduct audits or other quality assurance processes as appropriate.

To provide guidance and support to course participants and line managers regarding Learning and Development interventions and the application of L&D policies and procedures as required

To provide information to assist HR Advisors and HR Manager, OD in the preparation of responses to complaints, Freedom of Information requests, Data Protection requests, Ministerial, Parliamentary or NI Assembly questions.

Experience and Qualifications

  • 5 GCSE’s at Grade C or above or Equivalent including Maths and English
  • Competent use of Windows and other Microsoft Applications
  • Can demonstrate: effective planning, organisation, prioritisation skills and attention to detail; effective communication skills and the ability to provide timely and accurate information ; a customer service orientation
  • Have experience of working in a HR/Learning and Development administration role within a large, multi site, mulit disciplinary organisation
